Our Story

Founded on a Mission to Connect the World with Brazil

Rota Brasilis was founded in 2010 by a team of Brazilian immigration lawyers who saw a growing need: foreigners wanted to move to Brazil but were overwhelmed by the complex bureaucratic process.

What started as a small practice in São Paulo has grown into a full-service immigration law firm with offices in Rio de Janeiro and partnerships across the globe. Our team combines deep legal expertise with firsthand understanding of the expat experience — because many of us have lived abroad ourselves.

Today, we've helped over 2,500 clients from more than 30 countries successfully obtain their Brazilian visas, from property investors and entrepreneurs to digital nomads and retirees.
